Does anyone know the way to change the mower deck belts on a Snapper/Massey 1855? Seems to be a lot of trouble, but then I don't have a manuel either. Not sure if I need to take off the gear box or what. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I don't know anything about your snapper, yet I'll bet like most mower manufacturs that there is a spring that will allow you to relieve belt tension. You need to find this and hold it closed. Insert your belt and let it loose. You should get some good response from the fellas that have your brand if machine. Paul
