Has anyone ever attempted or do you know if a vertical shaft engine can be mounted with the shaft horizontally. Carbeuration and oiling are two big worrys. Got a good deal on the engines.

We used to convert a few in my 9th grade power mechanics class a few years ago, but that was in the days of splash lubrication. Turning a 3.5 hp briggs from vertical to horizontal is no big trick. Doing it with a pressure-lubed V twin is another game entirely!
