I am in need of wheels/tires for my Snow Giant. Did you have any luck finding spares? Have you tried chains?

Regards,

Brian Hayward

Have you identified a dealer that would have left over Snow Giant parts? I have a 24-inch Deluxe UH-584-7 (stock No. 689) with a broken auger clutch drive). One of my recourse is to have the part machine shopped, but it would be easier if I found one. Thanks.

Dear gaston, I also have a Snow Giant UH-386-8 but I am Missing the manual that gives the part numbers/descriptions. I believe it has a broken bearing for the auger drive. Any suggestions?

Just wondering if you ever had any luck locating parts for your Snow Giant? I too am in need of a part-a fan clutch lever to be exact. Any thoughts?
Thanks

Re: Cub cadet gas starvation in reply to Don J., 06-26-2002 04:17:17
1.) Fuel tank vent plugged? Try running it with the cap unscrewed a bit.
2.) Does it have a fuel pump? I seem to recall they do. Bad diaphram in it?
3.) I also seem to recall it has a fuel shutoff solenoid. Problem there -- sticky?
4.) Not a gas problem, maybe? Have you checked for spark by pulling a plug and cranking it right after it dies?
5.) Leaky or sticky valves? Your need to use starting fluid makes me wonder about that. At 2 years old, maintenance would have to have been poor for that problem to pop up.

Good luck.
