I have a line on a 1976 Bicentenial Cub Cadet Model 76. The owner says it is all original and in good shape right down to its red white and blue paint job. He says it has stars on the seat and he believes there is an American flag painted on it ,all from the factory. Has anyone seen one of these ,and would you have any input on approximate value. Thanks , John

John, I can e-mail you some photos of restored, unrestored and one photo from some sales literature if you like. And just for future reference, the 76 is a lawn tractor and as such is a 'Cadet' Spirit of 76 not 'Cub Cadet' Spirit of 76, Cub Cadets are garden tractors.

I have seen acouple of these. I would say the highest price would be $600. Especially if it was originaly from the factory. If the price was under $600, I would get it. These Cub Cadets are very rare.

There is a picture of one of these tractors at the link below, I'm not sure how original the one in the picture is though.http://www.antiquetractors.com/cgi-bin/photo_pic.cgi?pic=http;//www.ytmag.com/gallery/oc05-032.jpg&w=gphotos&firstrec=1&lastrec=15
