BWoods: My response above may be in error. Sometimes it is difficult to discern that individuals are giving casting numbers. Your 7005 and 7505 listings had me confused a bit until I read further down in the posts. Many people will read the injection pump number on the left side of the engine as the serial number, it is not. Many will read a casting number from an engine or transmission housing casting as the serial number, it is not. The serial number for the Dexta, as Richard accurately read and posted for his tractor... is stamped vertically in the transmission/engine housing flange. This flange, about 1/2 in. wide, read from the left side of the tractor is the only number we can use to identify the year of manufacture.
