As in how many HP, the reliability, price, weitght, fuel efficiency, top road speed, how many speeds, pto speed(s) and anything else that I haven`t asked that you can think of? And any known weaknesses that they have!

My 1962 Super Major with backhoe and loader has several steering problems. The steering arms wore out the splines, the steering gearbox bearings all went bad, and the power steering cylinder does not work. The steering gearbox is difficult to fill with oil, gets water in it, has no way to easily drain it, and the lower bearings are in the very bottom. Keep the arms tightened and the gearbox filled with clean oil to prevent trouble.
Get the I&T manual for specs; basically about 40-55 hp depending on model, 540 pto rpm, pretty tough tractor, parts expensive and somewhat scarce.

Parts are easy and plentyfull here in Australia plus they are cheap.

FMD Mk 1 40hp, FMD Mk2 44hp, FPM and FSM 52hp, NPSM 55hp.

Only real weakness is seals on sleeves. Also worn steering can be a problem.

I have noticed that parts seem to be more available in Australia than here in the southeastern USA. I think there were a lot more imported there than here. I have read that Bareco has a USA sales outlet for parts.
