1959 dexta is hard to start in cold weather-I want to put in a block heater. I assume that I pry out the freeze plug that is the most accessible and install heater. What is diameter of hole and where do I purchase one? Any special cautions on this project?

I don't know who all has them but I got mine at a NAPA store for my Dexta.
I don't remember the size, but I carried the plug in and he matched it up. He sold me one that has a rubber expansion plug and washer so it must fit several different applications.
Hope this helps and good luck
