I tried posting last night, but couldn't get through,sorry!90w won't work in modern hydraulics, the tolerances are much tighter than in old tractors, the dexta manual calls for 90w,so it will work in there!Me myself,I woud go a little lighter, like 75w80,or even 15w40 engine-oil won't hurt any.(but some guys will take issue with that statement)If this is your only tractor youare not worried about mixing different types of oil between tractors.it depends on how cold will it get where you live, and if you plan on using it in the winter. To check the oil-level,there are 2 squareheaded plugs on the right side, down near the floorboard, take them out,if oil comes out,it's full,if not, fill until oil does come out.To drain, there are 2 squareheaded plugs underneath the tractor. The "Fordson crunch" only applies to the Majors, the dexta is completly different!
