Greetings! Like the gentleman with the 1925 problem, I too have a broken float for a Fordson and would love any ideas on how to fix or repalce it. It is round 2-3/4 OD X 2 X 5/8 wide and is cracked in half. Does that gas tank sealer work? Any other ideas? The carb is a downdraft Kingston. Thanks!!
Dave

I have repaired floats two ways, I usually look thru my brass float collection to see if i can find one that is close, if so i solder the lever from the old float to the new float. If A brass match cannot be found i use balsa wood that you can buy from hobby stores, glue a bunch of slabs together, cut, shape , form, dip in a "good" tank sealer and you have a float. once a cork float has been in gas tank sealer has a hard time sticking to it.
