I have been looking for a set of plows that fit my fordson. Did fordson make any plows or were all the plows made by others to fit the tractor. In my quest to find a plow set that hook up and supported by the tractor I have not been lucky yet, but it might help to know the maker of the plow set to begin with. any help is appreciated

Avery,

To my knowledge, Mr. Ford did not make implements for the Model F tractor. John Deere,Oliver, and of course, Harry Ferguson were just three of many who specifically produced a plow for the Model F tractor... often referred to as the "Model T of the Soil" Ford did actually produce some plows for the 9n-2n tractors... before the split between Mr. Ford and Mr. Ferguson in 1947. After that, Dearborn Motor Company produced an entire line of equipment, similar to the Ferguson 3 point line through DMC until the mid to late 50's, when Dearborn Motor Company was phased out and all equipment manufactured by Ford was consolidated under the Ford name.
