I am ready to paint a Super Major from 12/1960.
The wheel have a trace of a very brownish gray, the fenders and the rest are the old deep fordson
blue.

The new blue Ford paint is lighter. Where does
one get the old darker blue? Also is it heresy
to do the wheels the orange even though the tractor is just a little into the age of gray?

thanks to anyone replying

Merci d'avance!

Hi
I'm restoring a 46 Ford Convertible and I need the composition of the Blue Ford to finish the rebuilding of the engine. If you have, a friend of mine need the Green Ford colour for his 37 Ford Coupe engine. If you don't have this information help me with some addresses to search them. Thank you. Alberto Dondi

If your tractor is a 1960 model it should be painted "Ford Tractor Blue", including the fenders with "Fordson Orange" wheels. The Grey wheels and fenders were confined to the 64 "New Performance Super Major".

The blue should be a light blue, not dark, see Brians post below.
