Can someone please tell me what the hydraulic oil flow and pressure would be for a Fordson Power Major ? I want to build a 3 point hitch backhoe, and the plans I have specify the tractor to have a hydraulic oil flow of 6 gallons per minute and a pressure of 2000 psi. Just wondering if my Power Major would handle it.

I do not know the flow, but I have a 1957 Major Diesel with aux. hydrolics and I hooked it up to an old 3 point backhoe. It worked great. Plenty of digging power.

Thanks for that James, it sounds promising. How are your auxillary hydraulics hooked up? You wouldn't be able to post a picture of them would you? Thanks
Paul
