I have a '59' FPM, and last year noticed there must be some problem with the back hydraulics as when the snow plough is up it slowly sinks downwards.
Now lastweek when ploughing snow it has finally given up and doesn't lift at all.
I have a good manual on this tractor which gives the possibility of about 3 options.
Is it/could it be a big job. Is it possible to still find all parts i may need? - Can't seem to find things too easily here in Finland.
Thanks : Any help would be appreciated.
Andy.

Its a pretty easy job if you take it slow and are used to some mechanical work. The problem is the piston seal. This is fitted by removing the front valve chest. Connected to this is a pipe and a piston sleeve. Just pull this out and remove the piston. I got a new seal made for mine at a hydraulic supply company. Made of the latest material the man said should go for another 50 years. Cost me £11.00 inc tax.($22).

Don"t forget to lower the lift arms before starting work as you could get covered in oil when you take the valve chest off.
