For Fordson Model F tractors, the Champion A-25 spark plug fits the bill. There are other brands with the 1/2" pipe thread, such as Autolite and the like, but I can"t recall the part numbers right off the top of my head.

If you"re looking for authenticity, you can go to Champion"s website and buy authentic old-style take-apart plugs (the Champion X, which also fits the Model T) for $20.53 *each* (which works out to $82.12 for the set of four). I"m not sure if the porcelain on these plugs has the Ford script logo or not.

If you keep an eye on the eBay listings, you"ll often find old plugs with quite a bit of life still in them. (Sometimes you can find plugs at flea markets or swap meets, too.)

Let me know if you have any other questions; I"ll do my level best to answer them.

Maine Fordson, Glad you're getting the info out on the info I posted sometime back on the Purolator filter. I've been using them for years. It's a good idea to put a bead of silicone around the edge of filter after you set it in the top half of the washer. RL

Don@ld --

Finally found the cross-reference for Autolite spark plugs for the Fordson F: Autolite 4095. Best source reportedly is Carquest auto parts, where you can get them for $3.26 each, provided you buy a box of ten.

Also, somebody on this site had a suggestion for the air washer: "For the benefit of some of the newer Fordson people, a couple of years back I discovered that the Saturn automobile air cleaner fits perfectly in the top half of the air washer. The Purolator part # is: A14650. OK to cross-ref this to another manufacturer, they all seem to fit OK."

Keep those questions coming -- good to see the venerable Model F represented, not just the Majors and Super Dextas, etc...
