I am not sure but it sounds like a low compression problem. Check the valve clearances. Be sure the compression release lever is not partially engaged. If you do not have access to a diesel compression gage you can try switching the injectors to check which injectors and which cylinders will work. Put fresh oil in the sump. Hope this helps.

It could be a loose or cracked injector??This is the only place were I would think fuel could get into the oil.If you are goining to swap injectors you will have to remove the valve cover anyway.Maybe you can spot the problem before you remove any injectors.Try running the tractor with the valve cover off.It is pretty messy so look out.It is also quite noisey as well so wear ear protection.

Hope this helps.

With the engine running and the valve cover off check the injectors with a black light. If you have a leaking injector or fuel line the fuel will show up with a milky color. This is sometimes hard to see with a small leak.
