DND got its first paying job today- breaking down the rear tires on the 971 parts tractor so I can repair the leaks in the inner tube. Those big old cast iron weights on the rear axle did their thing. I only had to back up onto the tire in one place and the bead broke loose. That's me in the seat.

It ought to look familiar other than the fact that the trees now have leaves and the grass has turned green since your truck and trailer was sitting there.

How long was it sitting?
Did it take much work to get it running?
Be tractor safe.

The guy I bought it from said he had owned it for 3 or 4 years and he used it to mow around his place. He had bought it at an estate sale in Coleman, Texas. All it took to get it running was a little bit of gas.
