Might be a Big Blue (made by Cobey in Ohio, I belive), but kinda doubt it. Not '70's anyway... those were blue and white. What little paint is left appears to be red, and I'm also pretty sure that Big Blue's had steel boxes. Grandpa had one, but it was traded when I was pretty little. It's in the background of a picture or two, and BigBlue spreaders are in FOrd sales literature from the '70's and early '80's.

Might not be a Big Blue, but a perusal of the 802 series Ford manure spreaders makes me a believer on the 802 part. It's an 802, or something very, very similar.

The serial # plate is still attached and reads; FORD
Series 802
component 20-22
serial # 3670
made in U.S.A.

The wooden sides were red and the metal was green. It was made in the 60's (abt.1963)

Maybe a Ford (made by ??) from long enough ago that it was painted Ford red?
