They're on the right side of the center housing & tranny housing:

third party image

They're not slotted like the detent ball plugs on the other side.

While I'm at it....what do the #'s & letters mean on the tranny housing(next to the part #).

Jeff

The plug in the center housing (to the left in the photo) is used to plug hydraulic lift passage outlet. The plug in the transmission housing (to the right in the photo) is the oil level check plug used on 5 speeds.

The number/letter arrangement is the Transmission date code. See the attached link courtesy of John in La. He's put together some great info.

The hex head pipe plug on the right is where you check the fluid level in your trans. Remove this plug and pour fluid in through the large plug on top of the trans until it runs out the side.
The allen head plug on the left is tapped into your hydraulic pressure line. You can remove the plug and attach a pressure guage to see how much pressure your hyd pump is putting out.
The "5BT" means your trans housing was cast in February, 1955. I don't know the significance of the "T".
"NDA 7006" is Ford's engineering number for a 5 speed trans housing and it is found on all 5 speeds.

Helo Awhtx , That date code maybe Feb 55 and it may not be because of the T it is one that does not fit the generally accepted way that Ford dated them it helps to have the model and serial number to see when the tractor was produced even though it is a 100 series tractor. The NDA PREFIX is specific to the 100 series tractor ONLY not to 5 speeds and the 7006 is the engineering number for a Transmission case, and will be found on Manuals or Select-o-speed cases even cars and trucks. The SUFFIX AFTER the 7006 will tell you what the case fits. Thanks Tony Jacobs
