Anyone know if I can put power steering on my 860. If so where do I get the stuff. I'm rebuilding the engine and well I have it all apart I would like to add powersteering. I know I could cobb something but I'd rather not do it that way.

Tim

I think I can come up with all the original parts (pulley, gooseneck, etc)for a factory power steering setup. I know I have the box, pump, lines, radius rods and cylinders. I'll check this afternoon. Send me an email if you're interested.

If you still have the power steering parts for an 800, I'm interested. Would need everything - pump, steering valve, cylinders, radius rods, drag links, etc.

I looked at JPS and you have to have a loader to get hydrolics from. I'll keep looking

As Rick says, you really have 3 options as I see it:

1. cobble something yourself
2. scrounge the boneyards and ebay for all the original parts....some of which might be worn out
3. pay the money to Jackson Power Steering for a ready to install pre-engineered kit.

Let us know how it turns out.

You can get new from JACKSON for around a grand, or you can get the old stuff offen a boneyard tractor for around a grand.
