Helping freind with power steering issue. What kind of pressure should I have? Some wear in pump where the gears turn,no leaks,new filter,rams run in & out with front end jacked up. Any help appreciated, thanx Dan

Without going to the service manual to check for sure,I think its 1050 to around 1100 psi at at 1000 RPM. My experience with Ford pumps, if they have much visable wear at all they will not make enough pressure. Gears,Housings and Etc. are no longer available from New Holland to repair them.You have to replace the whole Pump.
