My 860 has a remote valve that I believe is double acting. The I&T manual says there is an adjustment screw to make it work with single acting rams. One of the hyd. lines is clearly marked "LIFT" I assume this would be the line to use for single acting action. I would like to move a trip type manure loader off my 850, it works off the tractor hydrls and 3 pt lift lever. Does anyone know about this remote valve? Thanks for any help More pics at the link listed below

I have the same valve on my early 4000 (4cyl) that is not running right now. I want to take it off and put on my 800. Can someone tell me how to do this?

This is a bolt-on conversion as the hydraulic valve mounting plates are identical. All you will need is 2 new sets of O-rings. The O-rings are not special and should be available at any good auto parts store as well as you CNH dealer.

Just remove the 4 bolts holding the valve to the lift cover on the 4000 and the 4 bolts holding the block-off plate onto the lift cover on the 8xx. Swap the valve and block-off plate, install new O-rings, and you should be good to go.

Let the three point down before you unbolt the valve.

See the hex head slotted screw on your valve. Screw it counterclockwise for single acting cyl. Screw it back in for double acting.
