i thought i had asked this a week ago but i couldn't find my message. i have a leaking shut off valve below the gas tank and can't get it to shut off and it continually leaks on the ground. does the valve unscrew from the part that is connected to the tank?
if not, does the part that is connected to the tank screwed into the bottom of the tank or welded into it?
where can i buy a replacement for the parts i need?
thanks,
pat in texas

The part that screws in an out, is kept from turning too far out by a "U" or "C" shaped clip slipped in from the top. Remove the clip and you can unscrew the valve part. Once in a while you will be lucky an be able to clean the inside of the valve and reassembe. There may be a O-ring that is repacable also.
I hope this helps you.

You can buy the part at places that sell tisco parts. The best valve will come from New Holland. The valve will unscrew from the bottom of the tank. The boss that is on the tank is welded to the tank.
