While brush hogging my 3-point seems to lose lifting power. When I first start to use the lift all is fine. After about a half hour or so it will only raise up about 6-inches . Then I'll let it set about a half hour and then it works fine. When it does this I have looked into the oil and I dont see any air bubbles. Any ideas?

I had an 850 with the same problem, put your hand on the hydraulic pump when it stops working if it's hot spray a garden hose on it for a few minutes to cool it and try the lift, if it starts to work your pump is the problem. Start by making sure your fluid is not too old, then consider a pump rebuild. If it's a vane pump consider a swap to the piston pump.

For brush hoging I always set the lift
in the full DOWN
position and adjust the links for the
optimum level deck height.
Otherwise if the lift is holding the 500 pound deck up.
you are putting impact pressure of thousands
of pounds on the hydraulics. Not good for
long life...
It will start to leak down on you.
