I hope one of you experts ca help me out...I changed my voltage regulator..to gain access I removed the steering wheel, and instruement panel. After reinstalling everything, I fired it up, took it for a drive..ande noticed that oil was dripping down on my starter switch. After investigating it;s source, I found that's it's coming out of the top of the steering column.(right under where the steering wheel mounts. I rechecked the steering wheel, it is tight..Any advise on what might have happened...and what I'm going to need to do to fix it?? Any advise will be most appreciated.

I take it you have power steering. Likely a steering gear box reseal is needed in this case. If you do not have power steering, you've got something really strange happening. HTH

Yes, it has power steering. In the manual I have, it shows the steering mechanism as in 3 sections. Are you thinking it's in the control valve assembly or the steering gear housing? Thanks

It's just the seal in the bottom of the tower, but when you remove the 3 bolts to replace it, do not disturb the valve body or you will have to go farther in to it.

Got it! I'll be careful not to disturb the control valve area. Would you happen to know where I could get this seal? Is it called the "lower tower seal"? Thanks a million for your help. If I had half the money I've saved from from the kind of help I've gotten from this site from guys like you, I'd give you half of it...but I don't, I spent it on my Tractor! Cheers!
