Front mount snowblower?

Anyone ever design a front mount snowblower for their Ford tractor? I知 thinking about doing it to my 871. It has a loader on it that I could attach the blower to. I realize that I will need to run it through a gearbox because the PTO would turn it in the wrong direction.
I wonder if anyone has done one this way, and what other problems that I might into.
I want to do this for two main reasons. One is because I知 getting a sore neck with the blower in the back, and secondly, my tractor is too fast is reverse (3.1 mph - SOS trans.). With the blower on the front I would have ten speeds to choose from, and the low is really slow.
Thanks for any help.
Dan

There is a company in Benson,Mn that makes front mount pto driven blowers.I'm sorry thats all the info I have right now. I will try to post more info over the weekend. I thought about one on my 871 but I would have to remove the FEL. Good luck

Hi Dan, I have an original Western front mount snowblower with Ford loader brackets for 703,712, 720,724,725,730,735 Ford loaders it has it's own Wisconsin V-4 engine to run the Blower. Western only made them for a few years then quit but you can still get parts breakdowns from them. Thanks Tony Jacobs

Tony, thanks for your reply. I was thinking about using a Wisconsin engine on mine, but two problems entered my mind. 1. The extra weight up front. Does this seem to be a problem? 2. The horsepower needed. I知 not sure what the HP is of the motor that I have, do you know what yours is? Does it have enough power? What about RPM, is there any type of gear reduction or anything?
Is there any way that you could send pictures?
Thank for any info.
Dan
