I brought a 860 at Xmas time and when I got it home I found out that I can't adjust or turn the levering crank unless I have the 3 pt half ways down. Is this nornal or did some one put the wrong fenders on it?

Shulte, I'd say it has the wrong fenders on it, or there set in some how. Because I can adjust mine up or down it makes no difference. And there is no fender mount tool box on a 860 it's in the right running board, unless someone added one as an option. As the running board ones do wrought out easily. John

There is on mine.....I put it there....aftermarket....didn't put it on the left side because I added aftermarket remote hydraulics and that is where my control valve is.

Ok, now you've got my curiosity up, Why didn't you just put a single or double auxilary valve under the front of the seat where they factory mount? How did you hook your after market valve in ? John

I hop on and off a lot. That means my legs are where equip mfgr's like to mount things. I want things out of the way and the factory installation (buying today and retrofitting) was $400 something.

The NH dealer sold me an adapter that mounts right where you are talking about which is about 1" thick. You lift the plate up, stick it in, and put it back. It has a 1/2 pipe suck and 1/2 pipe blow hole in it and is in the mail pressure line from the pump to the 3pt lift..... that is why you need an OPEN center control valve for your aux. Then it is just a matter of installing your valve wherever you want it and plumb it to your remote connectors. I chose the left side over the axle which has turned out to be the perfect place.

Got rid of a fabulous (400 hr $4000 all orig) MF Deluxe 35 because of all the crap they had between the seat and the dash.

Want more, ask.

Don't know.

I would think you want to make the adjustment when the implement is on the ground so that you can use the ground as a reference and there is no weight on the screw.

I don't know about my fenders, but there is a fender mounted tool box that would interfere if all the way up.
