You'll need the light duty set like Dan pictures. The heavy duty ones won't fit inside your rims. Look for 30lb segaments not the 45's. Ya find em where ever ya find any other used stuff only they are kinda scarse.

Can't sleep! What an auction day! The weights I used to own didn't have anything similar to the wedges you picture. Just guessing here, but could the wedges be used as a washer up against the outer edge of the weight segment that the bolt would go thru when mounting the segment to the weights mounting flange? The fact that it has rim/wheel stamped on one side and appears to be somewhat concave makes me think that particular side may be designed to fit into the some what oversize hole of the weight segment. Do you have 12 wedges per side? Dan Robertson

Yes I have 12 per side. How did your sale go? How much did your tractor and weights sell for? Good luck on on your new endevors.

I sold the 861 tractor [$5200],segment weights [$850], and front blade [$400] all seperately. The 1964 2000 Ford SOS went for [$3000]. I had good attendance and at the end of the day (long auction), was very very tired but satisfied. Glad it's over. You all hate gonna get rid of me, I have grown to attached to this board, and the Farmall and Cub boards. Gotta have something to do. I feel like I have friends at these sites. May be bringing some new owners on board too. Dan Robertson

Hi Tlak, If you look at your weight segments and on the back of the mounting plate they usually have an ID number on them (W-2, W-3, W-4, W-5, ETC. ETC.) I am looking for three W-9 segments, when they are bolted on the tractor you can see the W-9 towards the center of the weight where the bolts go through it. Thanks Tony

Mine are 30lb segments. I weighted one on the bathroom scale. I didnt have any luck on the number. I thought I saw a shadow of a W2 but when I cleaned the area I couldnt see any thing. I go to the local farm auctions here(KY) so I'll keep an eye out.

Hi Dan, You wouldn't happen to have three extra segments of those 45 pound heavy duty weights like on your tractor would you ? assuming of course they are W-9 segments. Thanks Tony Jacobs

I have a set of these weights or think I do. When mine are on my tractor the edge of the spin out appears to be the same weith as yours but your weigths appear to stick out further from the wheel. Could the mounting plate for both sets be the same with the weights being different? Where are the wedges installed? It looks like the weights by the spin out nuts are notched is this right? One of my segments weights 30lbs and is 5ins across the top.

Does your tractor have the 5" wide wheel spacers that install between the axle hub and the wheel center? I had toyed with the idea of removing these so the weights would be more within the confines of the tire and wheel. I'm sure others have done that to their tractors over the years. My wheels are run in all the way to the most narrow track, which puts the wheel center as far out as it will go in the outer rim. If yours are not all the way out then that could explain why the weights appear to stick out further. I'm not sure what you mean about the wedges. Yes, the weights are notched. Mine are also 30 lb. segments. Dan Robertson

My wheel centers are all the way out. The set I got contained the mounts, weights, bolts, and wedges that has a bolt hole throught it. I dont have or have never seen the 5" spacers. I will try to post some pictures tomorrow.
