Ive had my 20 for about a year and a half now, using it for some plowing and mostly bush hogging. I got it at a John Deere dealer in Salina all rusted and barley running. After 3 months of functional restoration and $500 later, she runs like a top. Mind you I am only 28 yrs old, and have no background of old tractors. My father in law got me hooked on them and I havent looked back. Lots of old timers will drive by and ask me "is that your grandpas old grey fergie?" I kindly tell them, "nope, I got it on my own". A 70 yr old man told me one time, I had one like that when I was about 25 yrs old, it sure brings back memories seeing you mow with it every other weekend" I think it is really neat personally. My 51 to20 never ceases to amaze me, the other day I mowed my back lot (10 acres) and the grass was as tall as the hood of my fergie, and thick as hair as well. My little fergie just hankered down and slashed that grass like there was no tommorow. You wont find any fancy smancy zero turn radius mowers claiming that victory...lol Here is a picture and NO, the tractor is not running with me holding my daughter.

I am 29 years old and feel exactly the same about my '55 TO-35. These old Fergies sure are cool, especially considering what new tractors look like nowadays. Thanks for sharing that with us.

I too am new to the tractor world, but love the look of these little ferguson tractors. I need one mainly to mow about 10 acres and pull around a box blade from time to time. I live 10 miles west of topeka, but i work for the railroad that takes me as far as herington. how far is that from you?

looking good Daveywavey, You the Man !
Also sounds like you can blame your father-in-law when your wife starts complaining about the $$$ you pump into your tractor, and all the cool implements you will want to start collecting.
