I came across a 3 point drag disc made by ferguson. I thot when i bought it it was a regular drag disc and someone had put a 3 point on it but its factory that way. never saw one before. You cant pick the disc off the ground but just some of the weight off the front I supose for turning on the ends. Anyone know anything about these disc. Anyone want one cause I cant use it without changing it around.

Hi Alan, This disc is a factory disk. There were lots of them in Mn. The disk is a pull type, and
when you raise and lower the three point you also
angle and straighten the blade angle for turning.

I think you have a early 6 or 7 foot (ferguson) tandem disc which was a pull type pulled by the bottom links and the angle ajusted by the top two links removed at the bottom and brought together in the form of a (V)to do its ajusting A detailed dicription is found on pages 87,88 & 89 in the FORD TRACTOR IMPLEMENTS book by CHESTER PETERSON&ROD BEEMER.128 page good quality paper.CENTAUR

One of these disks would not make the front end of tractor light to want to try to raise off the ground when trying to lift the disc as he is saying

If it will not lift but lifts the front end off the ground there is something wrong, those discs were made with up to 7 blades on a side for total 28 blades on a tandem and any TE-TO 20, TO30, TO35, F35, F40 would handle them, if it is too heavy then figure out where someone has added extra weight because what you are saying is not normal. Now if it was a massey Ferguson they were made in up to a 10' model and that would be too much in both width and weight for the above tractors. If i was going to have a 3 point disc it would be a Ferguson just because of the way they were made and they are a lot better than any of the 3 point disks being made today.

I live at about 10 miles north of I-40 in arkansas north of the little town of carlisle. The disc has all the grease certs and you can tell it hasnt been used alot. one outside blade is missing and one side that was sitting in the dirt the blades have some deteriation. I gave 110 dollors for it and thats what i would take. I hate to redo it for a drawbar drag disc. I tried to eplain that it isnt a true 3 pt lift type disc but it is a factory 3 pt hitch but it is still the drag type disc.

I don't know what you mean when you say: "I tried to eplain that it isnt a true 3 pt lift type disc but it is a factory 3 pt hitch but it is still the drag type disc. "

Here's a pic I took of a Ferguson ABO-22 Disc. Is this what yours looks like?
