My neighbor has a TO-20 and is interested in converting it to a modern diesel or a V-6. Is this even possible? If anyone can provide information on this or links to websites, I'd appreciate it.

You could probably put a gas turbine in it if you wanted to. All it takes is time and dollars!

Yep, a friend of mine put a hopped up 4V 289 on his 8N. Did it because the 4 cyl would not "plow his potatoes fast enough". lol

In engineering most things are possible. A friend once put a V12 Jag engine in what looked like an MF 35. Did about 60mph. All depends on engineering skill, time and cash.
