Why bother. It gets obvious that nobody with any authority wants to help out with this person and if you put up a post on how we truly feel about getting ripped off/lied to by this poor excuse of a tractor fan they'll pull the post. YT i feel is one of the best sites to contribute to "tractor addiction"....but getting screwed by this guy is one of the ultimate humilations ever. Makes ya wanna give up the hobby to play with jap cars with can mufflers.

This just for what it is worth...
I had some interest in a tractor he was advertising, so I did some checking on his credibility and I ran across his dealings on, which I believe to be very credible, Aumann Auctions web site. If his dealings are mentioned with this well known tractor man and they are negative, I am staying away.

Check the archives in here. The numbers of unhappy people should speak for itself. Whether that number is zero unhappy (meaning good reputation) or 10 unhappy people (meaning there are serious issues).

Talking about me without facts is not very polite.

No one ever said I was polite. But I'm happy to post (or repost) what the others have experienced just to refresh your memory. I've taken a few emails for suggested direction on this thread. Here is the facts as I see it.

Seems strange that someone would just pull YOUR name from a crowd and fabricate a story. Highly unlikely.

Seems strange that they know what town/city you live in. Average Joe isn't going to care. And they darn sure wouldn't be looking up a phone number for you to hang up on twice. I'll bet the person posting the original message has a phone bill with the long distance charges.

Seems strange that they would be the first to post using a full name, that sure points a finger at a specific person. Then its followed up by similar stories of others experience.

Seems strange that it would take you several months to respond when you have things for sale at the same time. When obviously you have been on the board.

Maybe you would care to elaborate on the story about the tractor you never owned in which it was paid for with no reimbursement paid back. Avoiding the issue only would confirm its truth.

May sound strange, but it sure sounds like its pointing to the truth to me.

Aparently your display of your attitude is the same as your biz deals. For one, I never called names, nor did I point a finger indicating a bad deal from you. I only reposted what others have addressed and it seems you are doing your best to avoid their issues. I'll pass on the phone call, though I appreciate your 4 year old mentality on the number, someday you will be able to spell I'm sure. Hopefully everyone looking at your ads see your post as well.

For everyone else viewing this persons feedback and searching a sellers name, is this REALLY the type of person you would have a desire to buy from?

Vern Otto is located Beausejour, Manitoba Canada with a real phone of (204)268-0918. Doesn't quite fit the number/letters he left earlier.

Exposed you? Maybe if you come clean, you can earn a little respect. I've seen a lot of angry posts about the way you do business. Dave

Seems to me that the best course of action with Vern Otto is to simply ignore him. It is obvious that he not only has contempt for others, but also for himself. Don't buy his stuff. Don't reply to his posts. And certainly don't get into a discussion with him that will never end. He will eventually get bored with us and crawl back under his rock..... ...P
