I bought a set of tires for one of my GP's from Harlan one time and asked him his opinion about proper size and fit. He advised me on what size to use and I in my stupidity chose to go with a smaller size. When I got home with them and stood them up against the tractor I realized my mistake immediately. I called Harlan up and he asked where I lived, I told him and he said he had a truck going close to me in a week or two and he would have his driver load up the right tires (that I should have bought on his advise in the first place) and have him meet me along the highway for an even up exchage, no questions. If I am not mistaken the tires I recieved were like $5 more a tire but Harlan said don't worry about it. Since that time I have had many other dealings with Harlan and he is always a stand up guy and is quick to help someone out.

JDman. I have had countless dealings with Harlan and have found him to represent his products honestly and above board. The man is extremely busy especially at shows or auctions and I am amazed that he can consistantly maintain composer and treat all the customers in the down home manner that he does. Out association goes back more years than I care to try & remember, but he remains that same great guy I met at our first meeting. The entire family is the same way.

I bought a set of rear round spoke wheels off of him awhile back sight unseen. He told me how they were and I bought them. I had him ship them for me by freight truck with a price qoute. He called two days later with a lower price qoute for shipping. He had more stuff going on same truck and gave everybody the discount instead of ripping everybody off in freight. The rims were as described and would buy again any day!

I have been collecting antique tractors for 25 years now, and have known Harlan Wilson for about 20 years when I first met him at the Canandaigua, NY show. And I can tell you- this is a good man, true to the sport of tractor collecting. If he does you wrong, it is not intentional. I will stand by Harlan ANY day.

I've delt with Harlan several times always with good results . I've talked to many other people that have also . Every one I know says Harlan is the best ! I would trust Harlan on a 10,000 deal sight unseen any day . The guys that deal in the many , many thousand dollar Deers say the would buy sight unseen from Harlan any time because if there was anything they didn't like he would refund on the spot .
Mike I don't know what happened with your tire deal but I'll bet you didn't tell Harlan you weren't happy or you would have had your money back FAST .

I bought a new set of tractor tires off him last summer.I paid for them a few weeks before i picked them up.Who would have thought to look at a set of new tires, but i should have. They looked like they had been laying in dirt for years. They were new,but the paper stickers on the tires were turning brown, and you could see some age cracks if you looked close enough. He dumped them on my trailer and just walked off, never said thanks, see ya or anything.
