In Mar 06 I bought and paid ($453) for a MH44 3 point hitch from Ed Cunningham, but to date have not received it. He didn't waste anytime cashing the check. I have continuously called him about it, but he seldoms answers his phone or responds to the messages I leave. When he did answer he said it was shipped and he would check on it and get back to me, but he never called me back. My view of Ed Cunningham is don't trust him!

As they would say I don't have a dog in this fight, but again if what Bill says is true, he paid for something he never got. Just because 4 or 5 people had good dealings with Ed and Bill got screwed still doesn't make it right. Taking someones money and don't sending the goods is JUST PLAIN WRONG!!
Enough said,
Ben

In defense of Ed..... ..Ed answered an ad here on yesterdays tractors that we had posted wanting to buy a motor.

He telephoned that he thought he had the right motor and I had my mechanic call him back ( and yes, he answered his phone) the next morning and yes, he thought it was the right motor. He offered to meet us half way with it, as it was going to be quite a drive to his place. He offered to call some other sources to verify that it was going to fit and everything. Within a few minutes, he called back and explained that after conversing with these other guys that the motor he had was different and would not be useful for what we were doing. He offered to try to help us find parts or another motor and was very polite, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable when we talked.

If he had wanted to cheat someone, he would have just told us the motor was going to fit and sold it to us. But instead, he was polite and helpful and honest enough to tell us. Thank you Ed.

When I was able to contact him he was very polite and told me everything I wanted to hear. He told me once it was shipped and when I called him after a couple of weeks and told him I hadn't received it he said he would check on it and get back to me, but hasn't for almost 10 months. When I was able to contact him agin in Oct 06 he said that item had been returned to him undeliverable. He said I'll try again. If he was correct and it was returned undeliverable he should've contacted me whcih he didn't. Even if he is correct about the item being returned he can not keep the item and my money. Bottom line I paid for something I never received.

He was going to meat you face to face. Its harder to ceat a man and look at him the same time. He would never give me a phone number or call me back when I give him mine. Ken B.

I don't think all the crooks are in Missouri, we have a few in Texas. The feed back forum is one way to help stop it. Remember it's more the crooks problem than yours.

The thing that bothers me the most is that Im from Missouri also.I buy needed parts, and I sell good used parts also, and the posts Ive seen on Ed give our state and our tractor community a bad name worldwide.Ive actually found a flaw in a part when it was about ready to ship, and I guarantee you the customer gets a call explaining the trouble, and their money back if I cant produce a good replacement part right away.Ed,PLEASE treat people right, even if its hard sometimes to deal with the public, thats what being in business takes.

Ken, I did see your posts on Ed about the problems you had. After reading your posts I figured I should speak out and let others know about Ed's character.

Bill,
I have been lucky so far when dealing with people over the internet. However, if what you say is true and someone had sold me something a year ago and I still didn't have it or the money I would be contacting the proper law enforcement and report that individual. I would have done that after a 3 month wait.
Hope this turns out OK for you.
Ben

I've made many deals over the internet and have never had a problem before. I've been debating on taking him to court, but I've have been hoping that he would get a conscience and do the right thing. However, I felt I needed to make people aware so that hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Ask Ed how he feels about defending himself against mail fraud.
