On Oct 13 I responded to an ad by Matt Stevenson who had six MarvelSchebler carbs and made an offer
He in email Oct 20 offered to ship them to me for $75, I mailed him my check 1639 that day for $75.
Having not received them I emailed him and he said
he wanted the check to clear. I has cleared and he still has not sent the carbs. I sent him an email that I had not received them and that he should check with PO, UPS, FedExp or send me his check for $75 and we would consider it closed. Todate I have not heard. What can you do to help or what recourse do I have
Thanks: Howard Wilkinson, handpw@wmconnect.com

If you mailed him a check that makes it mail fraud which is federal. Pretty serious but I dont know how one goes about reporting it. I would start at the P.O.

Unfortunatly we usually buy items several states away ! This makes it alot easier for dishonest people to take our money and run! They know that we probably wont show up on their doorsteps to collect. we all need to put a stop to people like this!I have the same situation with a man on the west coast on a carb.{ See Larry Strohl Beware }Maybe contact your bank. They may have a suggestion. Or contact The State Attouney Generals Office in the state where he lives. There are alot of good people out there, just a few bad ones . Doug
