Bought over 30 tractors from Jay and that is probably on the light side. The very best to deal with. Became good friends over the years. Would NEVER write a bad check. Mike in IN. pretty low. I hope I get the pleasure to meet you someday. Sincerly Brandon L. Wilke

To "Mike, in Indiana", or where ever you really live.
Your post is the reason we have trouble weeding out the few crooks in this hobby. Folks see a post like yours which is riddled with false statements, and they assume that anybody that complaines is just a liar or an idiot that has no business on a tractor, running or not.
There are a few real crooks in this hobby, Jay is not one of them, never has been.
Send Jay an apology, and hey, while you are at it, have your "buddy" go to Jay"s place, I"ll bet he will make that "bad check" real good for you.

I've bought seven tractors from Jay Stewart and Every one of them has been Better than expected, and worth more than I paid.

Jay deals with a LOT of people, not just the weekenders, and I know that he had sold 179 tractors in one calendar year the last time I was up there. That's a lot of chances to make people unhappy, yet I've NEVER heard a single negative remark about him.....

Jay and I have done some tractor trading in the past. I am well pleased with the tractor I got from him. He is a heck of nice guy to talk to and very knowledgeable about John Deere Tractors!!!

Jay is the best. Bought a 4020 from him. Then he sold one for me. All honest transactions. He says what he will do and do what he says

Gee,All his jocky buddies of the same stature saying he's the greatist guy on earth, what a suprise. You don't know anything, but your sure it couldn't have happened even though he admitted it did.The bounced ckeck wasn't he problem,be brought the two tractors back to bob smith and got his check back. The guy at the bank said he was kiting checks and just got caught.

He sold me a JD tractor and we met in indiana to tranfer the tractor. It was a piece of junk, not even close to what he said.A friend in kentucky sold him two tractors and his check bounced a few years ago.He ended up getting his tractors back.

Ok Mike you lived in MO when met not Indiana, you never bought a tractor from me,we met half way so you could look I guess, you said the tractor had water in the oil and a cracked head, that same tractor got sold to a local guy who has run it ever since with no problem at all out of the motor, that has been 6 or 7 years ago!As for your friend in Kentucky who sold me 2 tractors and had a check bounce?YOU ARE A DAMN LIAR!! There has never been a bad check come from here! Why dont you post your friends name so we all can see who he is.It is bad you sit behind your computer and wait 6 or 7 years to tell stories that are not true.you are the only JERK that I ever had a problem with and I have dealt with hundreds of people. We will see if anybody backs you up.Have a good day!
