Please excuse my ignorance .... but I am interested in purchasing a 1967 International 3514 from a private party here in California and can not find information here on the web to help me with values, like models, specs on this model and other particulars that might help me make an informed decision.

If anyone would be kind enough to offer to guide me to a web site that might provide this type of information I would be very grateful.

In addition, if you know about this make and model of tractor I would appreciate your assistance.

The ad I am resonding to reads:

"1967 Internation 3514 Diesel.
Front loader, rear scraper.
All hydrolic - needs clutch".

Just bought a 1970 International 3514, diesel, hydrostatic. Any info you were able to pick up I'd be interested in. Will be more than willing to share anything I might find out elsewhere.

I had a IH 3414 hydro with a frontend loader. The tractor had two pedals on the clutch side. One was forward and the other was reverse. The tractor had enough power but the hydraulic system needed clean filters and cool oil. The ad says that the tractor is all hydraulic and needs a clutch. I would assume that the tractor is a manual transmission but ask the owner if the transmission is a hydro. My experience of 20 years ago would be to stay away from an IH industrial tractor with the hydro transmission. The engine is 40 to 50 hp and should start without starting fluid. Check tires for remaining life. 4 tires could cost 800 to $900. The industrial IH do not command a high resale value because Case was making good industrial tractors at that time. With a bad clutch, price could be in the range of 1500 to $3000. The clutch will cost about $200 to $300 and somebody has to split the tractor. Total repair cost could run 600 to $800. A 33 year old diesel engine is not necessarily an asset. I am trying to paint a realistic picture as I have BTDT. Good luck.
