My wife was fueling up the Mini Cooper (white w/black stripes) last Friday at the Raceway at Exit 138 in Natchitoches, Louisiana and met a guy. He has a truck with two old Farmall's on it and they had a comversation. He was going to a tractor event in Jefferson, Texas. They further discussed Farmall's and it came up that I have a Farmall and that every night I read the forum on Yeasterday's Tractor. He said he also read the YT forum. Just curious whom this mystery Farmall guy is 8) It is nice to know I have a fellow Farmall fan nearby, somewhere. Hello there! How did the event go in Jefferson?

This has bee an interesting adventure since I first posted on YT about 170 post ago. I first thought most of the members were more in the mid-western states, but now I see them from California to upstate NY. I am glad to see that I have fellow Louisiana Farmall nuts as well. But this still doesen't answer my question. Who was the guy with the Farmall's last Friday??? I am jelous that my wife made first contact with a YT forum member.

Isn't there a large tractor boneyard around Baton Rouge? My grandfather bought the flywheel that is currently in my F504D about 15 years ago from a south Louisiana boneyard.

Glad to be on board.

Well Charles, my farmalls reside in Ponchatoula, LA. You wanna see a real Farmall collestion you should talk to Charlie Jr at Star Equipment in Hammond.

No more IH, CNH, or Cane River Supply in Natchitoches. Weeks Tractor used to handle Case, but is strictly New Holland now. I get my parts from Scott Equipment in Alexandria.

Yes, Jim Croce ended his journey here. Him and the rest of the passengers (including pilot) were flying out of our little airport after a concert at NSU. Evidence shows massive cocaine usage and they hit a powerline, all died, (1972 I think).

I've flown into that airport myself. Spent a few days there for a flight meet at NSU.

Nack-O-desh, no accent syllable.

If I remember correctly, where Jim Croce met his untimely demise.
