Zach - The belt pulley gearbox is lubed by gear oil thrown up from the transmission - no separate oil fill required.

However if the gearbox has been removed and emptied of residual oil, it doesn't hurt to dump a quart or so of fresh 80W-90 gear lube into the fill opening to pre-lube the gearbox after it's mounted back on the tractor.

The pulley drive uses oil from the transmission that gets thrown up into the casting as the engine runs. If you pull the pulley shaft cover out and drain the oil (a cup or two will come out), you might want to add a bit through the pulley casting plug, but if you have oil in the transmission the pulley should be getting lubed too.
