Now that she's running I'm cleaning up accessories. Ammeter doesn't seem to move and my diagrams don't show a 12v system with a generator and regulator. All I have found show either an alternator or a generator with a cutout. Also where should these hydraulic lines be bolted? I plan to get Pioneer fittings but don't want them to just hang there.

Hello Peculiar

Does your breakaway coupling have a swivel bracket attached to the hose side? The original bracket bolted to the right rear and center rear platform bolts. It had a flat portion with those bolt holes and an upright pin with a cotter key to hold the coupling on but still allow the breakaway to swivel. The original hoses ran straight back along the right side of the seat and gear shift. IH also supplied a hose guard that bolted to the platform and covered the hoses from the two way remote "Christmas Tree" to the breakaway. Your hoses appear to be a longer than original. Do you have the other half of the coupling that stays with the cylinder? If you email and would like I will take a couple of pictures of our setup and fwd them to you. Also, if you decide to convert to Pioneers, please let me know if you would be interested in selling your breakaway. I could use one more assembly for our other M. Best Regards Don

Bob Melville has some typical 12v wiring diagrams posted. Just do a search of the archives on his name. That is about where the hydraulic hoses lay on these old tractors, unless you fabricate a bracket for it. I made a bracket for my C so that ends are held rigid and it doesn't take three hands to connect the hoses. Just a couple of pieces of 1/2" or 3/4" angle iron and couple of U clamps to hold the hoses to the bracket. Not fancy but it works.
