I HAVE RECENTLY BOUGHT A 2250 FOR MY 666. AFTER MOUNTING IT I REALIZED IT MOVES PRETTY FAST, BUT I TRIED TO PICK UP A BUCKET OF DIRT AND IT WOULD ONLY PICK IT UP ABOUT 2/3 OF THE WAY.MAYBE SOME WEAR ON MY PUMP? WANDER WHAT A NEW ONE WOULD RUN ME.THANKS IN ADVANCE

if the loader was just installed, it takes some oil to fill up all the hoses and cylinders to displace all that space that air once occupied.
fill 'er up. and cycle up and down a few times empty, check the level, then cycle again, check/fill, cycle the bucket, check/fill, etc.

I would guess that you ran out of Hyd. oil . Best thing to do is do this again then while the loader is up shut off the tractor and check the oil level . Ya may have to run it 2-5 galions over ti get full hight as the 666 with that BIG 2250 loader takes a bunch of oil . 2250's are best duited on bigger tractor with more oil capacity , But it will work on it . Also best add LOTS OF WEIGHT ON THE BACK , loaded tires and at least three sets of donuts . When i had the one 706 with the 2000 loader on it she would lift a 15 foot Brillion Culamulcher or even loaded a 69 Chevy Impala and set it on the deck of a semi flat bed I had both rears (18.4X34's loaded and had 6 sets of donuts and at times that was not enough .

Vet, the 2250 is the SMALLEST of the mount-o-matic loaders, perfect for the 666. Dad's got a 2350, and it was too much loader for the 560.

I do agree on the hydraulic oil thing. The 666 must be really low on oil, because the dual-acting lift cylinders should be replacing most of the oil being pumped into the bottoms of the cylinders.

Now i know i am not up to date with all equipment# But a 2250 is a BIG loader for a farm tractor . As to the oil issue this is true IF HE REFILLED AFTER the insataltion.
