A friend of mine has a Galion E-Z-Lift road grader with a McCormick-Deering engine. The serial number is SINI 0007. It may be a 15-30 or a 10-20. What is the year of manufacture?

Larry

I think if you look closer at the number it will read SIN 10007. There is no SINI letter prefix. If I am correct the year would be 1929.

Larry You will have to get some numbers from the engine itself unless someone has Galion numbers.

Good idea, Andy, never make a blind date without seeing a picture.

I don't know how to post a picture on here, but you can see a picture of the grader at www.powerfromthepast.org Go to members collections and click on Slim Gregan. There will be a picture of the grader on there. It is a Galion E-Z-Lift road grader.

Some one told us that the McCormick-Deering engine was an industrial engine. Would the serial numbers for the tractors be the same ones used for tractor engines?
