I took my zenith carb apart to clean it and put new factory (HBDuvall) gasket on it. Any special tricks warnings etc when I put it back together? I did not take all the little brass things w the holes in them out of the carb body. I figured if I put the float and its little pin axle rod? back the same way I found it, all would be well on Saturday when I try to get her running. Thanks.

Once you have it apart (including all those little brass things), dip it for a few hours (no more than 4hrs) in a gallon carb cleaner bucket (avail at most good auto parts stores). After you take it out of the cleaner (using rubber gloves), wash thouroughly with hot soapy water, then take an air compressor (with at least 100psi)and blow out all the small little canals/holes. Then put it back together and use new gaskets. Once you've done all this, you probably won't need any luck as you've done all you can do.....BobG in VA

There is nothing special needed but luck that it is now clean. aayou have my wish for luck. they usuallyneed to be taken apart farther, and cleande in a dip container of carb clean. But if it was running before, it has a chance. JimN
