quick up date: MY ih201 manual gives specifications for valve tappat gaps . 014 for ih 340 gas. i did not read close enough at first, and i think i gapped at .027 because i saw that in specifications. after reading manual i found specific information to tappat gaps for my model 340. .014 Now the tractor purrs nice and quiet. live and learn! 9 READ TWICE I GUESS. jIM

It is way better to have gone wide than hav it at .010 and quietly burning the face off the exhausts!! JimN
