Gentlemen, is the throwout bearing on a 300 utility press onto the yolk? I am rebuilding the motor, its at the machine shop, was wanting to change out the throwout bearing. Got it out and on the bench and it seems to be pressed on. Wanted some advice prior to fouling something up. Thanks D Sellers

Doyle: How are you, just thinking about you two days ago. In fact I told the guys on here how you've shown me how to grow peanuts. You best take a jaunt over to Alabama, guy moved up there from Florida, calls himself Red Mist. He wants to learn how to grow peanuts. Problem is he has blue paint in the yard.

I think Jim has looked after your question, been so long since I had a 300-350 apart, I'll not be arguing with him anyhow.

You take care, I'll drop you an e mail, was planning that anyhow.

Yes it is. a bearing splitter, and a press are easiest. They are easily deformed, so hitting it is not good. Adapting a big bench vice to do it, or a pulley puller is good as well. JimN
