Has anyone replaced their headlight plugs? Mine have endured 45 years of the hot, brutal Texas and Louisiana sun. They have fell apart. I am thinking of replacing them with standard rubber tractor lights, but the IH steel lights are darn cute. I recently purchased the TC-88 Parts Catalog and it doesen't seem to list just the plug, but rather a wiring harness (most likely discontinued or cost me my first born male child). Anyone else in the same boat?

If you are talking about the plug that goes thru
the teardrop shaped lite, screw on the inside, and
screw on the outside, Try a John Deere dealer.
I tried to find then at JD parts, but they don.t
list any tractors before the New Generation tractors

I would use crimp on connectors to make the light connections. Hal

Added an oliver this past summer to my collection. I found 6V sealed beams at tractor supply that fit the lite housing. So i just took out and saved the original bulb and internal parts and wired in the sealed beam . Looks great. My A looks like it has the same size housing.
