Is the front rim of a Farmall M tricycle supposed to be red or silver/galvenized? I know the hub should be red but I have seen both red and silver rims. They both look good. I just want to get it correct.

The single 10 inch wheels and the 17 inch wheels I have seen around California, where they are very common, have all been solid red. Occasionally they are painted white, but that wasn't original.

The rims were silver or like you said galvanized

Gene, was that true of the single front wheels, too? In the airbrushed pictures in the operators mauals, they always look the same color as the tractor. I don't know that I've ever actually seen one, and have wondered about that.

Singles had only red on both the yoke and wheel.
