I was pushing up the snowbanks with my Farmall A today, and I noticed that the right rear wheel was spinning when I got on ice, and the left wheel did not turn; should both rear wheels be turning even though one is spinning? Do I have a left rear axle problem? Thanks, Eben in Vt.

the old Miller Locker will do it lol (welding the spider gears together) There are no kits that are out there to make them haave a true diff lock like in more morden tractors if thats what you mean.

Every thing is normal there, its the how a differental works. If your loose traction and see one wheel spining hit that side brake and the other wheel will spin. But there is nothing wrong with your A :)
