how do i remove throwout bearing inside clutch housing., the clutch rod wich goes throug clutch housing on both sides is supposed to be pushed through from right side to leftside in order to drop out bearing from inside housing, i cannot get clutch rod to move through block, i have checked every where for split ring retainers or a pin that may need removal, but see nothing on either side of cluth rod or housing... thanks for help anyone

On the underside there are two 3/8 bolts in the bearing carrier. Pull the bolts out and pull the shaft out. There are two washers that the bolts go through and hold the bearing carrier to the shaft.
