Does anyone know the height of a 715 combine. I bought a 715 and a 403 and need to get them home. I could drive them, but it is 30 miles. I would like to trailer them. I am going to scrap them out after I take the motors out and any other parts I can sell. I would also like to know the weight. I can't find the information on the internet. Thanks in advance. Lee

Driving 'em home isn't too bad. Just drove a 403 47 miles. Took about 3 hours including pit stops!
15-16 MPH was max. Might get a little more if you have the hydro drive. Got 3 miles to the gallon. Had to buy my flagger a steak dinner.

I HAULED A 715 115 MILES A COUPLE MONTHS AGO WITH A SMALL RACECAR TRAILER. I BACKED THE COMBINE ON THE TRAILER UNTIL THE COMBINES FRONT TIRES WERE ABOUT 2 FEET FROM BACK OF TRAILER. CHAINED AXLE BOTH WAYS, WORKED GREAT! ABLE TO GO 40 MPH THEN THE COMBINE TIRES STARTED BOUNCING. JUST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CLEARENCE WHEN YOU TURN. GOOD LUCK!

This might be a little off topic, but is this Lee from Edgewood/Mason?

Well alllll be! I live about four miles from you to the west, it's a small world. I've been over at Timmy's looking over the 300 he just got from you. I'd like to have one just like it. I'll fill you in next time I see you.

The 403 will wiegh in around 11,300 and the 715 at 10,600.

Don't know the height, but I bet its around 12'.
