I know have my tractor and am in the process of getting it ready to go but I have a question that some of you may have the answer for. what do I set the rear wheel space to and do I leave the fluid and weights on the tractor?? You help is greatly appreciated.

My dad had the 234 on a 400 for 30 years or more he had fluid and wheel weights on it. Never broke an axle. And 95% of our corn was on hillsides and really odd fields. Tractor could have used more weight in the front though. It didn't steer real good went turning uphill with a loaded wagon hooked to it.

your guys help is greatly appreciated and for the breakin of the axles my neighbor had the picker on a 460 and never had a problem so i don't know

With the wt of the 234 picker you dont need any wt as that is a big load for a 560 just bee careful or you will get a busted axle,housing as that is not uncommon on a 560. That picker is better suited for a 706 or 806.

:-) Though it would cause more soft ground problems, the wt would not be on the housings/bearings, just the contact patch under the tires. JimN

I think the wheel spaceing is 80'' center to center of tires.Leave the weights and fluid.
